Guerilla Dreams

Last night I dreamt what it was like to be in war,

The people around you, they start to disappear . .

Tonight someone’s missing from the dinner table

Grabbing at anything to put out the flames,

I leave all my clothes behind,

I won’t be needing them anymore..

In this lighting, the landscape outside looks like a nightmare hedge, skies ablaze. © Lisa Ellen Goodman Photography

This image represents the horrors of warfare, something i’ve only glimpsed in the nightmare world i entered while asleep last night. The image is a still i took from a video on exhibit at Somerset House, London in summer 2016, entitled, “Dreaming with Stanley Kubrick.” © Lisa Ellen Goodman Photography

When will the dust clear, and what will be left? © Lisa Ellen Goodman Photography
